The Issues

IFCA is campaigning for changes in legislation and improved standards for children in care.

Currently our focus is on the following:

 

• Amendment to the Child Care Act 1991 for long-term foster carers
• Adoption of children in foster care
• Access arrangments for children in care
• Response to the Recommendations of the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse Report
